Board and Committees

Executive Committee
The officers of the Chamber, by virtue of position and election, shall be members of the Executive Committee. The Officers of the Chamber are: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Members-at-large. Each member of the Executive Committee shall be a member of the Chamber in good standing.

Chamber Committee's
MEMBERSHIP/ BENEFITS: shall be the recruiting arm of the Chamber. As such the committee should develop, for recommendation, strategies for implementation that will result in membership growth a well as retention. The Committee shall develop a “continuum of benefits” for all members of the Chamber.

Develop and publish a membership directory that follows a format which highlights the services and goods of each member. This directory is intended to be uses by both the public and private sectors as a source to identify business in the Lauderhill community that can provide goods and services to the buying public.

MARKETING/PR: shall develop marketing initiatives that will interest the potential member and current members.

The committee should develop a relationship with specific agencies, e.g. newspapers (names), radio stations (call letters and frequency), Spotlight Lauderhill and Condo and Homeowner (names) publications which will be willing to help in the Chamber’s efforts.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT: shall coordinate with other leading agencies (City, County, Regional Offices, etc) in facilitating the introduction of new business ventures that are exploring either expansion or relocation to the City of Lauderhill.

Develop implement programs that will aid business in their efforts to establish Lauderhill as their home base. Develop a “Welcome Wagon” theme that introduces business to the chamber and its programs.

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT: Involvement in matters that affect the community as it relates to business development, community education, training and resources information. Attend City meetings: planning and Zoning, Commission Meetings and home owners Association Meetings.
